As part of the denomination known as The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) we believe that denominational affiliation is not nearly as important as personal faith.

These are our basic beliefs:

1. The Supremacy of Jesus Christ
Christ is the Head of the Church

2. The Bible alone is our rule and guide
The Bible can lead us to know and understand God, the Father, His Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

3. The Unity and Liberty of all Christians in Christ
We are a liberty-loving and democratic people believing in individual opinion and independent church government.

4. Two institutions of our Lord
     a. We seek to restore the spiritual meaning of baptism through believer’s baptism.
     b. We observe the Lord’s Supper weekly as an act of thanksgiving to God and in remembrance of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the cross. The Lord’s Supper is open to all who confess Jesus to be the Christ.

5. We believe we are not the only Christians, but we seek to be Christians only
We invite all who unite with us to join in the pilgrimage to faith as we seek to follow the living Christ.
